0.1.9
The download. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 26 October 2026.
- The home puts People first as a grid of faces, with Recent in place of Resume Last Viewed and your sources below.
- A wider window keeps People and Sources in a list on the left, the way Mail and Messages do.
- A person page opens with when you started talking and when you last did, then one tile for each app you talk on, then what happened month by month: messages, calls and photos.
- A person page opens in under a fifth of a second on an archive of over a million messages.
- Open in Messages opens the Messages app on that conversation.
- Conversations show a time only after an hour of quiet, with Read under your last message.
- Pages sit on a solid background in Light and Dark. Glass stays on the sidebar and the controls.
- After an update, search picks up where it stopped instead of waiting for you to press Start.
- While search gets ready, the menu bar icon fills in and the menu says how long is left.
- The panel joins a conversation into one card, says each name once and shows one line for when your archive was last updated. Your AI app is told when search is still getting ready.
- Sources open straight to their content, with no title card first.
0.1.8
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 25 October 2026.
- Check for Updates in the Samskara menu opens this page and says whether a newer version is out.
- Setup ends by connecting your AI app, then waits for its first request so you see the panel once before you start.
- A new archive goes in a Samskara folder in your home folder, where Finder shows it. An archive in .samskara keeps working.
- Setup turns down a folder that iCloud Drive or another cloud service uploads, and says plainly when a drive is not encrypted.
- Only Claude Code and Codex can be allowed for 30 days. Every other app asks on the panel each time.
- An AI app gets what the panel showed you and the date your archive was last updated, and nothing else.
- Two requests at once no longer wait on each other. A read that runs past a minute stops and says so.
- Show Waiting Request brings the panel forward with its first line ready for the keyboard.
- The download is about a quarter smaller.
0.1.7
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 23 October 2026.
- A search for one person on one day reads only that person's threads. It could offer every thread of that day.
- The panel names items in plain words and shows only what means something to you, like a contact's title and organization. What the AI app is told stays the same.
- One person's threads under two handles are one line with their name.
- Snapchat rows name who sent them, and say Sent or Received where the export kept no words.
- Connecting Claude Code lets it use Samskara without asking first, so the panel is the one prompt. Disconnect takes that back.
- New texts keep arriving after an update. From 20 October a size check could stop them.
0.1.6
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 23 October 2026.
- The panel says redacted where it said blacked out, and so does what an AI app is told.
- A photo or video you share lists its time, place, coordinates and camera, each with its own tick. Coordinates and camera start unticked, and an unticked detail never reaches the app.
- A long log from an AI app is cleaned for reading in a fraction of the time it took.
0.1.5
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 21 October 2026.
- The panel. When an AI app asks, it comes forward with the items, and you can leave things out, black out parts, Preview, Approve, Reject or Allow for 30 Days. A 30 day allow covers one app, one conversation and one subject.
- Search embeds the archive on your Mac with nomic-embed-text, which is in the download. All at Once and Over Time download EmbeddingGemma 2, about 865 MB, from huggingface.co, to search photos, video frames, PDF pages and voice memos as well. Word Search Only downloads nothing.
- Every photo and video gets a small copy sized to your disk. The original is fetched only when opened.
- An export account waits until you mark it. An account marked shared reaches no AI app, and a source can be set to Never.
- The chat inside the app is gone. You ask in the AI app you already use, and it reads the archive.
0.1.4
Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple on 27 September 2026.
- Imports, search, source replicas, people, photos, health, and a chat inside the app whose answers cite their sources.
- The MCP server for an AI app you already use. There is no panel, so a connected app reads through the tools without asking.
- Search by meaning uses nomic-embed-text.
